Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Many local councils for the Knights of Columbus sell some beautiful Christmas cards for good prices. At one time I was told I could order online, but I don't know the address. A friend of ours sells them every year after Sunday Masses.

The Catholic Information Center in downtown DC has some lovely Christmas cards and is running a 20% off sale, including online orders:

Quote:
Through Saturday, November 29, EVERYTHING at the CIC is 20% OFF!

The discount also applies to phone orders.

This is the perfect time to get Advent Wreaths and Candles, the Advent volumes of the Liturgy of the Hours and In Conversation with God, and Advent Calendars.

The CIC also offers personalized Christmas Cards. They only take about a week to print and are priced very reasonably. Call the store for details!

We will be closed Thursday, November 27 for Thanksgiving, but will be open Friday & Saturday November 28 & 29.

Information number: (202) 783-2062
Toll-free book order number: (888) 574-3339

We personally know Brother Michael, one of the calligraphers from Conception Abbey, where the Printery House is located. Their products are very nice, always beautiful.

I have always loved their cards. As a calligrapher, I admire other people's calligraphy, and those are gorgeous. I try to buy those cards all the time. What a neat connection.

It's always so exciting to find a letter from him in our mailbox because each one is a work of art itself. he is very, very talented!
