I am planning our Advent party and this year I planned on teaching the kids in our parish about how they can prepare for The Christ Child, by making a manger for him. They do this by earning sacrifices and then for each sacrifice they can place a piece of straw in their manger for baby Jesus. I did this years ago with my children when they were younger. But I am having problems finding a supplier for the little plastic baby Jesus that I had given my children on Christmas for them to place in each of their mangers. Does anyone know where I can order these from?
Thanks and God bless,

I have had a similar challenge finding them the past few years. There is one really cute and more realistic one we used to get. Now all I can find is this style which I don't like quite as well.

In the past, we have bought little babies in the baby shower section of the party store (Party City, Paper Warehouse, etc).
Good luck!

We get ours from Autom - packs of 25, but very very cheap (I forget how much right now).

I thought Autom had some in the past and had searched the website this morning without finding any. Using the search engine nothing does come up, but going individually through each Christmas page right now I did eventually find these. They are the 2 piece, but you can just use the baby part. Are these the ones you use, CatholicMommy?

I just ordered a set of these today as well, for our CGS atriums.
The ones I was thinking of though are item # 16342 - it's a pack of 25, but they come out to 29 cents each. They are all tan, but the children always seem to enjoy them - because they are SO tiny! Since the children I will be giving them to are not always the most gentle, I like the hands-in style (rather than hands out - the arms break off sometimes!).
I wish I could find a "complete" Nativity set (preferably through Autom - or elsewhere with similar prices) that has a baby Jesus removable from the manger - but I've always had to take out the afixed Jesus and replace with a different one.... it doesn't always "match".... :)

Thank you ladies. I really like the one from Autom, Mary. Just trying to decide if I can afford 150 of them. But they are so much nicer than the others. Hmmm... I will see what hubby says since he will be paying.
Thanks again,
God bless

Jackie, Did you get your baby Jesus figures? I found these from The Sacco Company, but there's no bulk price.

Yes,Jennifer I did get my baby Jesus figures. I went with the ones from Autom that Mary found. I rec'd them this week and I am pleased with them. Dh graciously agreed to buy them, $154 for 168 babies. A little more than I wanted to spend but hopefully money well spent. Really for .79 for the 2 pc. set was a good bargin and they are cermaic.
Thank you though for letting me know about the others.
God bless,
