Hello,
I used to have a very nice little book titled "A Family Centered Examination of Conscience" by CHC. I love this book, but unfortunately I lost it and CHC has informed me that it is out of print .... 
I miss it terribly and have searched high and low for a used copy, but I don't think anyone would give up this treasure.
Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have it and could scan it and email it to me or put it up as a pdf - (I don't know anything about how to do PDF's and I don't know anything about copyright laws, but this is only for my own personal use).
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let me know.
Even though I have not had a chance to post that much, I enjoy this forum so much. Many thanks!

Hi Lucia,
Unfortunately, it would be a violation of copyright law for anyone to scan in the entire book and send it to you. CHC holds the copyright and it will not expire in our lifetimes.
All you can do is keep looking on the swap sites and hope someone has one to sell. Maybe CHC will eventually do another printing.

If CHC is the publisher and owns the copyrights, you could ask them directly for permission to copy someone else's version (and offer to pay them, but they might not require that). They might refuse because of the precident, but if you sound really pitiful, lol, they might agree to it.

Thank you for your replies!
I will just keeping looking and keep praying.... St. Anthony has never disappointed me. I lost it at a First Friday Mass at our parish and they always have a basket out for religious articles/books for the missions. Someone said to me that it probably ended up there, so I guess whoever has it now needed it more than me, but I still miss it!

Good news from CHC. I emailed and asked them about it. They are considering adding it as an ebook offering in the near future.

MOre good news. It looks like CHC is selling it in their new Book Nook section. It's in the Out of Print section so i'm sure quantities are limited. It's selling for $10.
