My 9 yo dd has expressed an interest in learning about missions and missionaries -- both lay and religious -- and I have to confess that I know very little. I am embarassed to say that most of our books about "missionaries" arrived in the Sonlight boxes.

Can anyone (Colleen?) direct me to some good resources for her? She's a good reader and extremely interested in the Faith. I'm hoping this turns into a longish project for her.

She's also expressed interest in corresponding with a missionary (or missionaries) and in finding out what she can do to help. Considering this Sunday is World Mission Sunday, I'm thinking it's an appropriate time to start such a project.
