August 14 is the feast day of my favorite saint, Maximilian Kolbe. So, I thought I'd share the paper doll/coloring page that I drew of him.
I drew him with his religious garb and long curly beard, for it is how he was before the Nazis sent him to Auschwitz.
For those who do not know about this saint:

Shalom!

Ruth,
We were cross posting over there. I moved mine down below yours since it was just a a craft and dessert from last year. Today, I fear we will run out of time to do either. Thanks for the paper doll, Maria. It might be just the thing we need today!

Aw, thanks! I was trying to write it in a way that I could read it aloud to my own children. I'm glad it works for yours, too!

I am sorry this is late, but I just got it all set up over at Scribd. Here is a coloring page I made for my girls of St. Max based on the picture I had of him on my blog.
