I just got the 3-6 manual in the mail today. Which lesson should I start with? I don't have the mass kit(yet...hope to get it as a Christmas gift  ). Should I wait until the advent presentations so that I have time to gather my materials? If not which of the ordinary time presentations is best to start with?? Thanks!

It's really up to you! Spend some time reading through the manual. I follow the rhythm of the liturgical year just as Moira does in setting up her outline of presentations, but I don't do every presentation in a year. It would be too much for me! Here's sort of how I decide...
I spend some time during the summer first reflecting on the presentations from the previous year making notes on any that I might want to repeat.
I lay out the year's Holy Days, Solemnities and Feasts on a calendar that I use to plan with.
Then, I go through Moira's manual and select a few presentations to complement and reinforce the Feasts we are really going to try to celebrate for that year.
I don't even attempt to complete all of the presentations in one year - I'd go bonkers. I do try to get in between 4 and 6 new presentations a year. It is working for us, and that gives the children plenty of time to absorb the presentation and work with the material on their own.
The biggest hit so far has been the Mass work, so I'd encourage the Mass kit when funds allow. We work with it a lot!
So, maybe just sit down with Moira's album and choose a few presentations that you'd really like to try as you live out the liturgical year with your family. Don't be tempted to choose too much - it will overwhelm you when it comes time to get things together, and it won't leave the children enough time to relax and use the materials on their own. You might also consider choosing your presentations now, and making a shopping list right now for supplies. I am trying to put a lot of my presentations together early this year....trying...
Also, if you get a chance, do search the archives here - I wish I could link for you, but the baby is waking up and I've got to run - I know we've discussed so many wonderful "how-to" ideas for CGS in the past. You might search here and look around.
Hopefully others will chime in with ideas for where they started and about how many presentations they accomplish in a year!

My main answer would be to emphasize you are not supposed to do it all in one year.. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) does the 3-6 in a three year cycle, and each year and previous presentations build on one another.
This isn't going to be a perfect way to write out the three year, but I'm just going to give an example of how a Three Year Cycle for CGS 3-6 would be. I'll post each year separately. Ideally each year would be in one column.

I know these don't all correspond with Moira's albums, as she doesn't have some of these presentations, and has added a few others. Jennifer's advice of following the Liturgical Year is perfect, and you follow the age.
Just because a presentation isn't listed in following years doesn't mean the work isn't used or presented again. What is listed above is the NEW presentations for that cycle.

Thank you ladies!! I had planned to follow the liturgical year but wasn't sure exactly where to start! The 3 year cycle helps SO much(and gives me some additional ideas! ) I will also re-read those threads. I had searched and read a while back before purchasing the manual but since it had been a while I forgot a good bit of it.  I just knew it was what I wanted to do! Thanks again!!
