I don't know if there is a saint specifically dedicated to openness to children, but you could certainly pray to St. Joseph, the patron of families. You could also ask any of the patrons of children like St. Nicholas, John Bosco, or Maria Goretti.

Oooh, I found a patron for desire for children, Saint Rita of Cascia, but her biography doesn't really explain why.
