For all of us who will be using the Good News Planners and focusing monthly on the Fruits of the Spirit this year, I have a question regarding the Parable of the Sower.

Last week, during the readings and homily about the Parable of the Sower and the fruit that can be born from good soil and good seed, it occurred to me that this may be a great starting point to our study of the Fruits of the Spirit. I would like to put together a more in-depth lesson about this parable for my DD. I did some quick searching online, but I didn't find anything aimed at children. Does anyone have any ideas? or links to specific Catholic Children's lessons based on this parable?

We were speaking to our deacon between Masses on Sunday. He said that his homily combined the parable with the fruits. His suggestion was to dedicate one day each week to each fruit of the Spirit, thanking God on Sunday for the gift of love, Monday for the gift of patience, etc. That way you would be thinking about them and cultivating them on a daily basis.
