Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have a picture they could share with me of the kind of candle they use as the candle they light at each of their CGS presentations? I'm trying to figure out what would be most appropriate.

Thanks,
Becky Jennings

I was given a Bible candle holder that holds a tealight and I use that most of the time. Other times, I just use a votive cup and either a votive or tealight on a small special tray.

Simplicity is best, so the focus is on the light itself...

I just use a simple blessed beeswax candle. I agree with CatholicMommy - simplicity is best and the focus is on the light.

Just a simple votive candle works nicely ~ unadorned would be best. Beeswax is nice, but not necessary.
