I was thrilled to find out today that our Administrator for the last two years is now going to be our Pastor! We have been so blessed by this wonderful priest and want to give him something special. He's on vacation until July 4th, so I have a few days to figure something out. I'm at a total loss for ideas--help!! Thanks!

What's the name of your parish? Maybe that will spark some ideas. We once had a visiting priest from Nigeria stay with us for a few years. When he left I got him a little statue of the patron of our parish. That way he can always remember us!   just a thought...

One of my favorite gifts for priests is something personal. One of our priests is a carpenter so a friend made him tool-shaped chocolates.

Another year she made him a stepping stone (those kits in the stores) and found a penguin tile mosaic (he had recently gone on vacation to Antarctica) to place on it.

I think those personal gifts are great!
