Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I saw St. Patrick's Summer on the By Way of the Family website, and I've been eyeing Ms. Hunt's other titles. The description reads ages 5+. Anyone have/love these?

Thanks,
Kelly in NC

Have them. Love them. Especially St. Patrick's Summer. But age 5 is a stretch in my mind unless it's a read-aloud. I would say 4th grade reading level. It's not a picture book by any stretch of the imagination.

Dear Jenn,

Thanks for writing. Actually, I am wanting read alouds for our co-op group as I'm teaching Spanish to 1st/2nd graders and we do a saint or religious read-aloud the last 10-15 minutes of class, so that will be perfect (and best of all, I get to keep the books!)

I enjoy your posts, by the way. You seem to know a lot of things about a variety of obscure topics!!!

Love,

Obscure is right! When I was single and trying to figure out a career, I couldn't find any use for my talents!
