Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Do you have a favorite daily missal? If so, can you tell me which one and why you like it? Also, where did you purchase it?

Love,

I've had a St. Joseph daily missal for 17 years and I love it. I ordered it from a Christian bookstore way back but I believe Allcatholicbooks sells it and also Leaflet Missal

Angie, I've evaluated many a missal. I used to love the Daughters of St. Paul Daily Missal, but the updated version I don't like as much, mostly because of the meditations and quotes aren't as rich.

My favorite is Daily Roman Missal. It's beautiful! Read the reviews. It includes the Latin parts of the Mass, so you could follow along a Novus Ordo in Latin just as easily as English. The extra prayers are gorgeous, and the commentaries are VERY sound.

Bumping this up to let you know that Midwest Theological Forum is having a summer sale on these missals. Roman Missals.
