Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I wanted to make sure all the Aussie ladies know that the Fathers of Mercy will be doing missions
across Australia, April 21st through May 17th. If you scroll down the events page, you will see a listing of all the missions and contacts for New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. I hope some of you all will be able to go to one. The Fathers have been such a blessing to our family. They are just wonderful !

Blessings,
Kym

Oh how I wish I was in Australia!

I second Kym's sentiments. The Father's of Mercy give the BEST mission talks!

Definitely check out the events page and see if they will be coming to your area. We were so blessed to live close enough to attend Mass at their Generalate when we lived in Kentucky. We take our boys up there to receive First Holy Communion and go to their ordinations whenever we can make it. They're doing such great work for the Church!

Blessings,
Kym

Thank you Kym for this reminder. I have been helping in the advertising in Brisbane and we are greatly looking forward to it! This is an incredible treat, I can tell you!

Kym today was the first day with Fr Ben Cameron and it was W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L-! They had a youth Q&A session this morning which we attended and we have just come back from Benedition and talk, Father's topic was the Eucharist and what can I say? Where do you start? It was transporting!

We will have daily mass each morning and Benediction and talk every evening, finishing Thursday night - what a treat this week will be!

Oh Anne, I'm so glad you're enjoying the mission! We love Father Ben; we knew him when he was freshly ordained He baptized one of our children and we have a started a tradition of going to him when it's time for a First Holy Communion. We'll be seeing him again for FHC after he gets back from Australia. Tell him we said hello !

Blessings,
Kym

Hi Kym, I was speaking to Fr Ben this morning and said "hello" from you - "Kym with a y?" Fr said, "That's the one!" I replied. I course he knew exactly who I was talking about and spoke highly of you!

I was arranging the singing for the final night for this Thursday and Fr wants to know if Australian's know a particular hymn about the apostles...so I'm off to start a thread to see if anyone recognises the particulars of it for me.

Kym, I'm finally getting back to say we had such a wonderful week with Father! We have bought all his CD series as well and I'm really looking forward to his Mother/Daughter retreat talks.

I really, really, really wish that we had many young, holy Father's like Fr Ben - it was a wonderful shot in the arm for us all.

Hi all,

We meet Fr Cameron as well and were at the talks for a couple of nights and he was just dynamic and very real in the sense that his words could be absorbed by all.
My dc's also got alot out of it, they didn't miss much.

It was a real blessing.

C
