I found a book called, "What You Will See Inside A Catholic Church" by,Michael Keane. It seemed to be very informative, but I'm wondering if there is something better out there? My daughter is five and is very interested in what everything in the Church is called and why. Also, any other books on what makes a Church a Cathedral, Basillica, etc.
Learning along with my daughter.....

There is a book by Wendy Goody A Peek Into My Church that Cay lists in Catholic Mosaic. There are a couple problems with it, , but children love it and it has lots of information and vocabulary. My oldest three (6,4,3) love this book.
Good illustrations, although MAYBE a bit 'cartoon-y', but colorful and attractive. No one seems to be able to find anything similar, unless you luck out finding a OOP book at a used book store or library sale.

If you let the kids on the computer.. EWTN has a great kids site.. and gives tons of info on what things are in the Church.

Thank you Suzanne and Jodie! I didn't know it would be so difficult to find something. The book I mentioned has real photos. Maybe getting both is the answer?
