Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anyone seen this resource? I was clicking around Simply Charlotte Mason website and came across this. It looks interesting. I have always wanted to do a study of Proverbs myself.

Any opinions?

It looks like an interesting study, just based on the table of contents. I like the idea of the one month, read-through of Proverbs, too. I don't know if I would have time to read it through for 8 months, though, as my bedside table is filling up!

I thought I would look around for more on Proverbs, and found this site of Scott Hahn's, which had a small study on Proverbs, which was done by a Lutheran scholar. I am assuming it must not contain anything anti-Catholic, since Dr. Hahn had it at his site. I have printed it out, about 22 pages. The little bit I read was interesting.

Aside from this one, I didn't find much. I didn't check out Jeff Cavin's, or the other more commonly known Bible scholars. I did look at Ignatius Press and Tan, and came up with nothing.

Molly, are you going to buy the Simply Charlotte Mason Proverbs study? If you do, let me know how you like it!

God Bless,
Stacy in MI

I don't know yet. I think I will check out Scott Hahn's first. I was hoping someone else had already been the guinea pig.
