I have a dear friend, who in response to the pope's request (in the new apostolic exhortation)that lay people become more acqainted with latin and learn the basic prayers in latin, has decided to learn the rosary in latin.
She is looking for a cd or an online source where it is spoken clearly and audibly for her to hear the correct pronunciations.
I just know some of you smart, faithful ladies on this list will know what I can suggest to her!!

We use "The Family Rosary," led by Pope John Paul. It includes the Angelus, Litany of Loreto, and some hymns (Salve Regina, Virgo Dei Genitrix, Alma Redemptoris Mater, Stabat Mater Dolorosa, Sub Tuum Praesidium, Salve Mater Misericordiae, Benedicta Es Tu--words included in the cd sleeve). (The Luminous Mysteries are in English and not led by JPII.)
I love that the Latin is prayed with an Italian lilt, even by the Pope.
It's put out by Heartbeat Records. I found it at our Cath. bookstore (doesn't seem to be on Amazon).

I just posted this on another thread but Julia Fogassy's Latin Prayers of the Mass and Rosary (scroll a little more than halfway down the page)is a good resource for this.

Michele, thanks for that link. I want to start Latin with the girls and I think prayers will be a great way to begin.

Nearly a year later and that awesome Latin Rosary link above is busted - so sad!
So in consolation I found the Rosary in Latin led by Pope John Paul II.
