Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

OK, maybe y'all have all gone through this before but I had the pleasure of taking my 6.5 yod to the music store today to get sized for a violin. Maggie has been asking to learn the violin for the past 2 years and we've finally found a teacher we could afford who would nurture Maggie along (my Maggie is the shyest kid you'd ever meet!) and make it fun too.

Maggie is SO EXCITED to start lessons next Wednesday. Everyone who walks in the door has been shown her new violin and music stand....and she's already promised to play something for us "as soon as I learn how".

Just had to share!

Yes, what a blessing to find a wonderful, nurturing teacher. Our daughter has certainly been blessed by hers learning her guitar (which she named after her teacher ).
