Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My kids and I love the Amy Steedman bios of painters. Are there any similar resources for composers?

Hello!
I am not familiar with Amy Steedman but we have enjoyed composer biographies by Opal Wheeler.

Take care,
Kelly

We love the Opal Wheeler biographies here too! There are also biographies by Thomas Tapper that are simpler and shorter--you can read them for free here.

Fantastic! Thanks for the Wheeler recommendations. And I had never heard of Steedman's painter bios. More books for the list!

Thank you Celeste! I had read a page or two of one of Thomas Tappers' books a couple years ago and was just thinking about it a couple days ago. I had NO idea where to start looking as I couldn't remember the author's name or the tittles. Have save these and am excited to share them with the boys. :)
