Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

While looking for a living book to supplement Story of the Orchestra I found one called Alice in Orchestralia. If you can't get it from your library or find it used, there is a free version of it here. This site not only has the text, but quite a few helpful links. Some other links for this topic can be found on my blog here. A great activity for a cut-out orchestra is on the website of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony. Enjoy!

Thanks for these excellent resources! I just had my Story of the Orchestra book out the other day, wondering what else was out there like it.

Eva,
Can you check your link? This one takes me to Story of the Orchestra (which we enjoy as well!). I'm really looking forward to taking a look at this book you recommend!
