Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I really have no idea what cd to get...I already have access to the Masters cd and Classical Kids at the library, but what is a good one for listening?
Thanks.

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for--symphonies, concerti, quiet music, or a general collection? Do you want free downloads or purchased downloads/CD's?

There are lots of free resources online if you are looking to save some money. One resource for free audio files is Kaila's Piano Music Website. She has quite an extensive collection available of classical works performed on piano. You could also try Classic Cat, which is a sort of clearinghouse for free classical downloads. I went through Classic Cat to get to these free downloads, scroll down for Mozart.

I personally prefer CD's. If you are looking for a CD with a good assortment of Mozart works, try The Very Best of Mozart. This series in general offers good (not superb) quality and a nice collection for several composers at a reasonable price.

There is also a new resource online that currently has programs, scores, and documents from the New York Philharmonic performances. It is supposed to soon have audio links as well, so if they do add that, this will be a major resource for music education. Here's the link to the New York Philharmonic Archives

Thank you Caroline! Yes, I prefer cd's too... I've added the Best of Mozart to my cart. Thanks for the links too, I'm going to check them out.
Have a good day!
