When I was checking out a stack of books from the library on Van Gogh the librarian told me about this song written about Van Gogh. When I searched youtube to listen to it with this new found knowledge I was pleasantly surprised to find it with a slide show.

I'm so glad you shared that interesting tidbit. I had no idea (or if I knew at one time it never registered

). It was really fun to watch the slide show of pictures along with the song - definitely heard the song in a new light.

So, I was searching around after that - can't resist a good rabbit trail ever

- and found another slide show/song version. It's fun to compare as they select different pieces and in different places.

Well that was a fun diversion this afternoon - thanks again!

I vividly remember seeing that slide show with that song in 7th grade art class. Loved it then and love it now!
