Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Someone from a local community theater just called, completely unexpectantly, and asked if my boys would like to be in the chorus for their Christmas play. They would be thrilled to be... except this is the title and I am hoping it is not anti Catholic. I made arrangements to pick up the script tomorrow so DH and I can read it. It looks like a Catholic version of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Is any one by chance familar with this play?

I don't know the play, but the book is wonderful!

Oops, I misread. I don't know anything about the Nun Before Christmas (but we loved Best Christmas Pageant Ever)

I'm glad you can get a copy of the script first!

I did some research. The Nun before Christmas was written by Jude and Shirley Pohl and is a takeoff on
Nunsense. I googled for a review of the play.
God bless,

I looked over the script and there is absolutely no way that we will have anything to do with this! (This is what I expected but I wanted to be sure.)

We also love the book Best Christmas Pageant Ever and DS age 13 was also in the play 2 and a half years ago. It was a wonderful experience.

Thanks for the input. God bless you!

Just want to add, as much as my DC enjoy theater, they love the Catholic faith and know that they would not enjoy taking part in this at all.
