Hello Ladies,

Does anyone have any resource suggestions for an aspiring just turned 8 year old who longs for the stage?

I'd love to find some simple (read....not too many props for momma to make)plays that we could stage at home for no more than three players.

   I just saw your post a month late! If you're still in search mode, I can recommend "Aesop's Fables: Plays for Young Children" by Dr. Albert Cullum, ISBN 0-86653-940-9. ABout 20 of the plays are for two to three parts (though it has a section of plays for four parts, five and six, too). Very simple stage directions, short plays of about two pages in length and easy lines...all with the added benefit of familiarizing your children with Aesop in the process!

Break a leg, as they say in the theatre business!
