Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My daughter plays the harp. We did the rent to own from the harp connection - so after six months we decided to buy the harp. We made her wait several years because of the price issue. I would contact a local teacher - that is who advised us through the whole process. Maybe there is a used one for sale? When we were looking, the used ones were not that much cheaper than a new one. Good luck!

Thank you for this advice, Mary.
The teacher we are in touch with said also to rent at first.

We are looking at the Harp Connection too.

Can I ask what harp you finally decided on?

Thanks,
ck

We got the Troubador. (sp?) The teacher said that it would last her through high school. We got it when she was 10 - last year. So, it is expensive up front but you don't have to keep replacing it and it does look lovely next to the piano. (Uhh...selling point to DH who kept thinking she should just play the piano we already owned.)   But DD never budged on her desire to play. Hope it all works out.
