Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

we are getting ready for some traveling by car and i was wondering if you had any good recommendations for music. i was wanting something fun, singalongable, and good quality. if it is educational too, thats great. but mostly i want music we all like and wont get annoying after 10 minutes. maybe some spanish songs? kid friendly musicals? folk songs? irish songs? the kids cds i like are elizabeth mitchell, and laurie berkner, but i know there are other good things out there

One we like is Go Fish.. they're protestant so there's a song here or there that I might *not* transfer to the MP3 for listening but most of it isn't that specific. You can listen to clips at their website.. and some of their songs are on you tube (Christmas with a Capital C is one of their's)

I will have to get the Trout Fishing in America cds from the library for sure now.

My 4year old has a shirt of theirs that we got of off freecycle--I didn't even know it was a band or anything until recently when someone mentioned it while he was wearing it. We told him what his shirt says, and he refers to it as his "United States Fish Shirt."

Don't miss They Might Be Giants' album "No!"

I have a list of "Truly Good Kids' Music" on my blog that you might find helpful, scroll down to the bottom of the right sidebar.
