Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This month we're listening to Prokofiev.

An obvious choice is Peter and the Wolf.

Lots of options here   If you have a favorite, please share.

Our #1 go-to resource:

Prokofiev at Classics for Kids

Here's a list of all the Prokofiev shows

We will also be listening to Romeo and Juliet. And dd-6 will probably be doing an improv ballet sequence to do with it, which I plan to put on video just for fun

Cornomama4's hubby is on a recording of Romeo and Juliet if you happen to find it; she talks about it in this thread.

We have Bernstein narrating Peter and the Wolf and a version with Sean Connery as the narrator.

We like them both.

We've listened to Bernstein more often because it also has Britten's Guide to the Orchestra with it.

I like both the David Bowie narration, and Patrick Stewart's.
