Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What a find! I had always seen the Sister Wendy dvd's in Catholic home school recommendations, and at Amazon.com, but had never actually seen them. Shayna had to take an art appreciation course and so I checked if they had them at our library and I was amazed that they did- all four volumes!!
All I can say is WOW! I highly recommend that you check and she if she is in your library.
Shayna and I were both laughing and enjoying the dvd's and Shayna kept saying, "Mom, can a nun say that?!!"
It's so tempting to add them to our home library, but I am trying to learn to be content with borrowing from the publilc library.

Laura:

Check Ignatius Press and other Cahtolic book sites, sometimes they have them on sale -- we got SW's "Grand Tour" last year for less than half!!!!

Definitely worth adding to your home library -- sorry to tempt you

I was just curious at what age would you show these dvds?

Thanks!

My littles (3, 5, 6) think they're ok, but I'd probably say 3rd or 4th would be the youngest ... just my opinion!

Thanks Mary! I have seen her books before but never studied them closely.
