Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hey y'all -- I was going to post this in Our Lady's Loom but thought it should go here instead.

I just found a GREAT book on puppets and making puppets and thought what a great book for homeschooling. It's a thin volume but has lots packed in there (with many potential rabbit trails too )

The book is called The Most Excellent Book of How to Be a Puppeteer with Easy Step-by-Step Instructions for a Brilliant Performance -- I'm not sure why it's SO expensive, altho I think it just came out and will come down (you could probably get the earlier edition or check your library).

Another book that ties in well is from Scholastic: The World of Theater: the historyt of actors, singers, costumes, audiences and scenery which looks like it's OOP but maybe you can find it at your library. It's a great overview -- a bit of culture for the various historic periods, etc.

Any others y'all have used?
