Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

A couple of days ago I was looking up resources to use for our Ice Age Unit Study and I found my self on a rabbit trail through the internet. I found a really neat site that had all the time periods of history listed on it and then when you clicked on the time periods you would get a page of kid friendly websites and webquests to visit. Of course I didn't bookmark the site! I was wondering if anyone had any idea what site I might be talking about :)

Thanks ahead of time - Tina

Tina,
did you check your history on your computer? On my toolbar, it is a counter-clockwise arrow on a clock. If you can remember what day it was, around, and look at the history for those days, you may find it.
Sorry, that is all the help I am.
You could say the little St. Anthony prayer to help you find it.

God Bless,
Stacy in MI

Ok, so I've decided to post them sooner than later I figured I would keep putting it off and never get around to it (I'm not very organized over here anyways) Most of these sites are not just for history ...

http://www.digitalhistory.uh.edu/teacher.cfm

http://www.schoolhistory.co.uk/primaryindex.html

http://cybersleuth-kids.com/

http://www.techtrekers.com/webquests/

http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/forkids/

http://members.aol.com/donnandlee/index.html

http://school.discovery.com/lessonplans/worldhis.html

http://www.schoolshistory.org.uk/teachersresources.htm

http://www.historyteacher.net/

I know everyone probably will anyways but you might want to check out the sites before letting your kids on them because I haven't been able to completely filter through all of them. Some of them are well-known sites but I always like to take extra caution
