Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I downloaded the free template for BOC from Simplycharlottemason.com. If a person lived from 1869 to 1947, do I list them on the 18th or 19th century?

Thanks

Zi

My son usually decides on his own, and places the individual in the century when the person was most well-known or made the most contributions. Sometimes, though, the person will be entered in both.

Galileo comes to mind. He was born in 1564 and died in 1642. My son decided to put him in both places in his timeline because many of his scientific contributions happened in each century. So, in this case he put

16th Century

Galileo b. 1564

17th Century

Galileo d. 1642
