Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Natalia,

I have never used Tapestry of Grace, I think it looks amazing though! I only have one dd so the large family aspect is lost on me but the arrangement, the support given, the topics covered, all are very attractive to me. I did worry about the Protestant influence, but I noticed under Week 17 that they referenced the Catholic Encyclopedia!

I'll be interested in other's answers as well.

I have also been considering this curriculum. I have a friend who uses it. She is extremely organized and has only one child. She does a co-op and has been very pleased. I feel is it similar to sonlight except it only gives you a weeks schedule instead of daily activities like sonlight. I am interested since I will teach 3 different grade levels at a time. The biggest down fall I see is finding the books. It will be very expensive to buy all new. The library will have some books however it may be easier to just spend the money. This is why I still cannot make up my mind. We may try the 1st 3 weeks this summer and if all goes well my DH and I will have to look at the school budget. I hope more people who use this curriculum will post and give there opinions.

My neighbor uses TOG. She has been very happy with it. She is not Catholic but tells me there is now a Yahoo group for Catholic TOG users.

I just took a look at Tapestry. I've been considering Sonlight, MA and Ambleside, too. I can't seem to make a decision. Part of me thinks I should just create something myself. However, past experience reminds me that it just doesn't work for me.

Looking forward to more insight.

Nope, I use My Father's World. I do however have a Catholic homeschooling friend who uses it with her children and loves it.
