Danger in the Narrows

I recently picked this up at a thrift store and thought it looked very promising- full of great pictures and lots of info about Bryce Canyon and Zion. It is written in diary form by one of the kids

There seems to be a whole series of books involving the Parker Family.
The Amazon reviews are very good but there aren't many.

Has anyone read these? They could a great supplement for geography if well done.

I've bought two of these books for my boys. They read them independently, but my youngest seem to like it. I picked them to go along with our state study. There seems to lots of natural history from the state park.
