I don't know if Australia counts as a foreign country or not but it is ANZAC Day here today and a national public holiday. Here is the link to some info, for those who are interested -

Anzac Day approaches again, and I've just done a blog post collecting a whole pile of related activities I've found (seeing as I usually fail to find anything with a quick search the night before!). I figured I might as well share it in a timely fashion:-)

(Although, it suddenly occurs to me that I managed to fail to include a recipe for Anzac biscuits! I have one in the physical copy I made! I'll have to edit that later!)

Hmm... I'm not sure why it doesn't Erin, it works for me:-( If you go to my blog though (from the signature) and search for Anzac, you should get it.

I've just added a link to someone else's booklist—she had picture books I hadn't seen!

Thanks Leonie, in the package I made up for friends I included a recipe, just not in the post:-) I didn't come across your other link before, either!

(When I started looking for stuff, I thought there wasn't much out there... but I've come to realise that there's not much for _little_ kids... there's actually some _great_ resources for older children!)
