Just in case anyone is interesting in following the great race this year, the ceremonial start in Anchorage is tomorrow, March 3, at 10am Alaska time (that's 2pm for you east coasters).

I also wanted to mention the Idita-Read 2012. We did this last year and it was a great way to motivate my somewhat reluctant readers and we learned a lot about the Iditarod! In fact, one of my dc have asked me about when were were doing this again almost on a monthly basis.
