Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have any experience with this. I think my head is just being turned, as I am ready to start school on Tuesday.

I figured I would have to deal with the Protestant POV. Anything that is Catholic that would be comperable?

I used the first book and it was fine. I had just a few minor issues with some of her Biblical interpretations, but nothing major.
The second book definitely has a Protestant point of view and I decided against using it.

I'm switching to:
"Light to the Nations" by Catholic school textbook project.
It picks up were Mystery of History 1 stops.
CHC sells it. It's level is for older kids(grade 7 to 9 I think)but I figured I'd teach it to my older two and simplify it for the younger kids.

We'll have to see how it goes....Say a prayer.

I started using it, but stopped. I wasn't comfortable with the Protestant point of views.

I have switched to Story of the World for the younger crew. It is easy to edit out things in those stories. For my middle school children I am using the Catholic Textbook Project books.

Thanks...

I have Sea to "Shining Sea" and "Light to the Nations." I will just stick with them.
