I'm so excited!! Finally my children are learning map knowledge of the world at a rapid rate and so successfully 
I downloaded the FREE Globalmaniaebook which is intended to teach you the Mastery of World Geography in 7 months. Easy to follow and based on online geography games it is totally fun. In one week my oldest two can locate allEuropean countries scoring 100% in just over a minute!
Currently we are playing the first game from wartoft I am soo determined to beat dh,  I can only get 86% on Asian countries at present 
Terri has compiled a list of Top Geography Sites
Just imagine my children reaction when I announced this term, "Now I want no whining, no complaining with what you will be doing for Geography this term, I mean it now, you have to play the computer"

It looks like the game can't be played on a Mac 
It said it needed all those Windows programs and no mention of Mac....oh well! It does look very cool!

Hi Erin - I've just downloaded the geography game - oh, dear... did I mention geography was my worst subject at school? Hopefully, my children will know more than I do!

Thanks for the links. We've been using Where in the World and USA is Carmen Sandiego just for fun. I'm impressed with your success. I'll have to bump her up to something more challenging, although the "addictive" part we will have to watch out for .
