Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My sons and dh are BIG fans of the Asterix comics. And we have dabbled a bit in French over recent years - esp since French was one of the languages that my second son ( Greg) majored in at university!

I recently purchased the computer program Asterix Learn French

and Thomas and Anthony are having a lot of fun with this!

Thought I'd pass it on. You *do need some familiarity with French to use the program.

Here's a link to Amazon here for those interested: Asterix French -- this one says it's advanced/intermediate but might be a great way for my 16 yos and French 3!

Thanks Leonie.

This is great! They have it in German, too! The kids have enjoyed the books (as did I when I was a young French student). Thanks Leonie and Mary!
