Hi Gals ,
This fall I am gearing up for our geography study . I am hoping to focus on central and south america following Bernie's Travels we love his blog and I was thinking if we started from the beginning and follow it through it 'd be a great study .
Books on food , culture , religion etc. making crafts . Map study of course

So we have here ds8 & ds13 and grandson 3yo every now and then .
If you've got any favs from your studies for these age groups I'd love to hear from you . I'm trying to put together book lists now . We will not start unschool until mid-late sept.

I just happened to see this list for a South American unit study on my friend's blog the other day.

South American Unit study resources

And, Serendipity is going around the world, but I think it will probably be awhile before we get to South America.

Thank You Candace Your friends blog is nice not muddled at all thanks so much .I find some blogs just to overwhelming boggling my mind .Simple works best for us .
Someone also reminded me of our MCC library as well they offer units for classroom use so I must drop in again on thier resource center.
I think I will have a look also at sonlights book lists for world studies and see what is offered for the americas . I have many elementry books on MX but thats it about it .
