Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My dh is wanting to implement the chrono history as in TWTM. My question is could I go through the reading chronologically without using a spine text? (My dd is in 2nd grade.)I know of the Reading Your Way Through History, can anyone tell me which books (for the ancient history)that I should leave out, if any. It seems that some of the books listed are for older kids.I do not mind reading them aloud, this is my intent, but content wise is what I am wondering.
Thanks

Darlene,
This may not be answering your question directly as I am not familiar with TWTM, but my 2nd grader last year loved the Greenleaf series "famous men of Rome" they also have books on Egypt and Greece. I wouldn't recommend later books obviously as they are Protestant and have a totally different view
