Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've been looking over what I could use for 6th grade ancient history. Old World and America, Founders of Freedom and something else (can't think of the name). Anyway, I know somewhere someone posted a reading list that coincided with ancient history by chapter for this time period matching up chapters with Old World and America with the SOTW, but I can't find it. I'm thinking of either getting SOTW and the activity guide or just using the activity guide with what I already have.

Anyone know what I'm talking about. Or did I dream this???

Thanks!

You'd want to purchase SOTW Level Volume 3 to match old World America. The other volumes are great span of info too.

(SOTW Vol 4 is Modern History (1949 through now)

I found the list. It was SOTW II that a member had done matching Usborne World History, OWA, and Story of the Church with Vol II. I printed it out for safe keeping this time.

So I will probably just get SOTW I and use other things I have on hand. I found that I have quite a few resources for ancient history -Famous Men of Greece, Story of the Romans, and Story of the Greeks. Maybe just the activity guide is all I will need??? Okay, now I'm thinking out loud.

hsmom, the SOTW activity guide will have lists of books to use along with SOTW I, and Sonlight's core 6 has plenty of suggestions as well. Old World and America does briefly cover this time period as well, but only a few chapters at the beginning.
