Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone used this curriculum or researched it? I have a few non-Catholic friends using it and am curious what any of you may know about it?
Thanks

My Father's World

Just bumping this to see if anyone has an opinion on this. It is Charlotte Mason based and looks really nice to me. Lots of good books used.

Hi. I am using it. I am not Catholic although my DH is and we are trying to raise our children in the Catholic church (although I feel like I am failing at it)

This will be our 3rd year using MFW....and we really like it. Anything specific you want to know about it?

We have used it for 4 years, but I am not Catholic either so I don't know if I could answer any questions you might have.

I use it for the elementary years and switch to Sonlight in the junior/high school years.

We've enjoyed it and are using the kindergarten and Adventures curriculum this year.

We've used the following years:

Kindergarten (2nd go around)
1st grade
Adventures in My Father's World (this is our first year)
Exploring Countries and Cultures (Excellent!)
Creation to the Greeks
Rome to the Reformation

I just wondered if it was a good multi-aged curriculum. It seems cheaper than SL. I already use many of the books they recommend. I guess I just wanted to see what aspects you liked and what you did not like. Any reviews you wish to share would be greatly appreciated.

Blessings,

Anne, I don't personally use MFW, but I have a good friend who switched to it this year simply because she could use it with 2 girls who are a few years apart. She said they are having the best school year yet! She has raved about and been so excited and relieved to have it working so well for them! :)
