The other morning my oldest went into the living room while the rest of us were schooling at the table. I heard him click on the television. AFter awhile I asked, "Corey, have you finished doing history?"

"Uh, no, ma'am."

"Well! What are you doing?"

Chelsea (the 7 yr old sister) answered for him: "Uh, Mom, don't ya' think, maybe he's watching history?"

We call current events, History in the Making, and have a map on our front door in the living room, with articles from the internet and newspapers all around it as history happens. We mark the map where the history is happening.

Yes, he's WATCHING history!
