Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi everyone ,
Yes I found these forums ! well I am slow everyone knows that
ok I think we are ready to try out the letterboxing idea .
I briefly remember Mcbeth describing it oh about 5-6 yrs ago I'm much over 40 now and I can't remember much so can you all help me out .
I'd love some good explanations as well as any good links . Keeping in mind I tend not to like to read to much online I'm still very much an in print type gal . Like things simple and to the point otherwise it will be way over my head and I will give up .
Oh Its so nice to be here . God Bless , Rox

The place we find out our letterboxing information is

Letterboxing North America

They have a state by state guide that is then subdivided into counties.

All you really need is a stamp and a notepad. We started out with store bought stamps but have since made our own. When you find the box you stamp your book with the enclosed stamp and stamp the box's book with your stamp. Always be sure to seal up the box well before you replace it.

Enjoy your treasure hunt,

We have done it and it is so much fun. Theresa mentioned it here and it links to a post she has on her blog about it. There is also a link to a helpful article in Family Fun in that thread.

Now that it is spring and better weather we are going to start up again. We use the Letterboxing website mentioned above to find our box locations.
