Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone know of an online game, or even one to purchase for the computer, where you can program in the math facts your child needs practice with? Also, a place to do the same for flash cards?
DD needs to practice addition and subtraction facts to 10 and I just want those facts--for now.
Thanks.

Anne,
You can find exactly what you're looking for with Math Facts Now. It's a no-nonsense math quizzing program. The parent enters the parameters and the operations information along with a time limit (if desired) and the computer program generates a math quiz. It's nice and available for download now, but it doesn't work with macs . If you have a PC though, it might be worth your consideration.

I've been so pleased with the many free resources at the Math Is Fun website and you might find that this fits your needs very well...

This Addition Math Trainer seems like it would meet your needs exactly...and FOR FREE!!!!

This isn't a computer game but is a quizzing/practice device for the basic math facts...Flashmaster.

http://www.amazon.com/FlashMaster-Handheld-mastering-multipl ication-flashcards/dp/B0002MHMFM

The thing I really like is that you can set various parameters for the practice sessions (tables, in order, random) and have them timed or not. Also, the device will record up to 9 sets of problems (20 each)so you can see how the child is doing, but they can do the math anywhere in the house or outside even.

I like Math-U-See's online drill generator. I don't think you have to use their curriculum to use it. It's here.
