Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This has probably been discussed before, but how has your experience been with this program? Different sites talk about how it isn't rigorous (that word irks me!) enough etc. and I have some very math minded kids! We finished Jacob's Algebra and were going to move onto his Geo. as our library carries it, but for the 7 years we used math u see I remember how it was so easy to teach because it wasn't a new lesson each day!

Any thoughts on this from people who have used it?

I have not used it yet, but plan on using it this coming year with ds.
When I look at the table of contents and compare it with other programs, it seems a little light on the proofs and such. I was originally concerned about the rigor of it, but after discussing with a few folks I realized it probably is as good a prep for the SAT as a more rigorous program because it's focus is on the types of geometry he would see on the SAT.
Not that SAT prep is the ultimate goal, but my ds is not a math whiz. His comprehension is fine, but he would rather not do more than he needs to, you know? I think MUS will be just what he needs to get geometry out of the way so he can move on. Plus, MUS Algebra II has worked well for him this past year and he is familiar/comfortable with the program, so that's a big plus.
That said, I would be interested also in hearing from anyone who has actually used it!LOL!
