Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Math series workbooks.
Does anyone have any experience with these? I believe they are a Mennonite provider. We have used Rod and Staff (also Mennonite) for math but I have just come across this publisher in comparison. R&S worked for my older son and we've started it with my younger but I think he may do better with the problems to solve in workbook form as opposed to having to copy all of them from a text.
CLE math

I also read that CLE works at higher level than R&S.
I appreciate any information/advice you may have on this math program or publisher.
Thank you!!

I know a family who uses CLE.

The math books start out with first grade, but more at a kindergarten level; then they are subsequently harder by approximately a quarter of a grade level each year, so that by 8th grade for example a child is working is working at a 10th grade level.

I can't compare to Rod and Staff, and I'm going to do Montessori with my son, but I am considering CLE as a supplement for him to have practice doing the work in a book (he loves workbooks too, so that helps).

Sorry I am so late to post this, but CLE has been a lifesaver for my sp ed daughter who just doesn't "get" math. After two years of introducing adding using other materials (MCP, etc), I bought CLE at a Christian Home Educators conference as a last resort, and my daughter "got" it! I was so excited, I cried!! I felt like a whole new world opened up for her. So, I LOVE it, and it has worked out so wonderfully for us. I may switch over with my other children (Saxon users). With all my great education, I still can't remember anything in highter math.
