My son has requested we look into a burst of math tutoring for him. He struggles terribly with math and it colors the whole day for him. He has expressed a desire to work very hard at putting his math difficulties behind him and I promised to do some research for him.

I know he won't want to travel far to go to a tutor, so I'm looking at online options, but I'm not finding much.

Does anyone have any recommendations for us?

Anyone in the area who can come to you?

Last year I tutored a neighbor in geometry, and she babysat to pay me. The year before when her older sister needed the tutor, we had a neighbor who was a math prof who taught nights and was a stay at home mom by day. Same family found a chem tutor (a guy who checks urine samples for the Army ) who was someone we knew from church. We were all within walking distance or a 3 min drive and very flexible with our schedules.
