Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Last year my 3rd and 4th graders used TT5, and my 6th grader used a combination of TT PreAlgebra and Lial's Basic College Math. We just got our state test scores back, and everyone's scores increased tremendously!    Two of my children went up an entire level into advanced, and my 3rd grader is at the very tip top of the advanced section (although he is already a mathie kid, it's still way above where he was in the previous test).

I'm sharing this not to brag, but because I know we are all looking for a good math program, and I feel really good about recommending TT for the elementary years.

Thanks for sharing. My Grade 5 twins tried out their Teaching Textbooks 6 this week and think it is the BEST. We were only going to do the first lesson to show them how to best use it - but they love it so much they want to do Math every day. I had balked at the price - but now I am thinking it is really worth it.

Thanks Lynn...so good to know! We are going to be starting TT for the first time here this year. I have a Pre-Alg and an Alg 2. Unfortunately they don't have my earlier grades on Mac yet.

I've been using TT for my oldest ds since he started Algebra - he's done I and II, and geometry, and started pre-calculus this past week. We love it here too.

i love TT. i love it. my ds10 is blowing thru 5, and i am thrilled.

as soon as my dd7 is old enough - that is what she will use too.

it only took 12 years of homeschooling - but i *finally* don't have to stress about Math anymore!!!!!!!

Thanks for posting. I often see negative posts about TT but we have to use it (non math kid + non math mom = trouble, otherwise!)

I have found it a tremendous blessing in my house.
