Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Here are some fun math books we're working thru that add a real artistic and creative element to our home-education journey!

Do you have any you'd recommend? We're off on a living math rabbit trail ... I've got most of the Sir Cumference books but what else is out there?

Right in Your Own Backyard: Nature Math is one that Melinda (Seastar) recommended and we have been loving it! And...it's 9 cents used right now at Amazon if your library doesn't have it.

Need to check out your list, Mary! Thanks!

If you haven't seen it in a while Donald in Mathmagicland is neat since it talks about math in things like art and nature and music and architecture etc. It's not comprehensive but it might inspire you in where to find math.

We have a wonderful book for making geometric art called Compass Drawings:

Both my older children have used it and made beautiful, creative designs. It's one of those unsung wonders of homeschooling - a really great resource!
