Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Sarah M's thread over here has me thinking about where we go when we have finished Rightstart. My ds age 10 will finish level E this year. I feel overwhelmed thinking of all of the possibilities that could be our next step...MUS, Saxon, Abeka, etc. I'm sure there is more I don't even know.

So...anyone move up and out of RS and where did you go and HOW did it go?

For what it is worth, this particular ds does a good job with math, seems to grasp it pretty quickly and is a decent reader.

Dr. Cotter suggests RS G (Geometry) and VideoText A. These two programs would take two years to complete when used together.   I have heard mixed reviews about VideoText, though.

Other people move on to Singapore, Bob Jones Math or Teaching Textbooks.

My dd will be finished Level E in the fall and I am planning to move her to MUS only because she is dyslexic and the manipulative based programs work best for her.
